Watching "Saving Private Ryan"
not a relaxing experience

Blood, guts, and body parts everywhere. I'm talking about
the movie Saving Private Ryan. I attended this movie and I didn't
like what I saw.
It had a really good story. However, the movie itself was
really intense, which really turned me off. I thought that Saving
Private Ryan would be a lot different and less graphic than it
was.
The special effects were great and you had a hard time
telling what was real and what was produced by computer technology.
This can be good because it helps create suspense and reality.
But it can also be bad, as you don't know what's real footage
or what's special effects.
This has caused painful memories for many war veterans who
have seen the movie. As a result of this movie, many of these
men have began calling veterans' help lines. This has led to
extra staff being brought in to deal with calls from these traumatized
men. |

There were speakers all around us in the movie theatre
which allowed us to hear sounds in the background while listening
to the sound from the current screen. I really found this neat
as you could hear people talking in the background and could
hear what the other men had on their minds and how they were
feeling.
I think the people who liked this movie should think of how
this affects some of the men involved in this war. I think that
going to see it only gives companies more money to make movies
like this, which affects our communities and our lives.
If you like these kinds of movies, it's a great one for you.
But if you don't like guts, blood and war then this isn't a movie
for you.
A movie should be a place to escape from reality and relax.
If you want blood, guts and detached body parts, watch the news.
