You Can't Eat Your Chicken Pox Amber Brown This book is about a girl named Amber Brown. All Amber's class caught the chicken pox. Amber didn't though. Amber made a sign for her classroom saying: "Welcome to Scab City". Amber was also excited about her summer vacation. She was going to Paris with her Aunt Pam and she couldn't wait! Her father lived close to Paris, in France, so maybe she would be able to see him, but something horrible happened to Amber. She caught the chicken pox, in Paris! Now everyday Amber plays monopoly with Aunt Pam. Paula Danziger has written two other Amber Brown books, Amber Brown is not a Crayon and Amber Brown Goes Fourth. Paula Danziger has also written Everyone Else's Parents Said Yes. On a scale of one to ten, I would rate this book as an eight and a half.
