Two high school students in Nova Scotia are getting the chance to learn about the world of sports broadcasting simply by doing it.

Leigh Merrill and Jonathan Elliott are media students at Auburn Drive High School. But when school is out, they cover the Halifax Mooseheads Junior A Hockey games and file stories for 13 radio stations in Newfoundland, Nova Scotia and Prince Edward Island.
