Never heard of Sandbox? That's not surprising. They're an up-and-coming band from Nova Scotia. This is their second album, and the boys have come a long way. Murder is a fantastic blend of upbeat, poppy tunes, and gentler reflective tracks. The songs can all hold their own, but inside the CD there is a story depicting the underlying theme of the album; the mental process taken by a man who has just committed a murder. There is a deep, dark message in each of those tracks, if you care to look. Or, you can simply sit back and listen to the catchy tunes without having to think at all. Now that's an appealing thought! There's something for everyone here, so give Sandbox a listen and recognize the hidden talent of the East Coast music scene!
