Forgive my passion,
It's what's in my heart
And if I make a fool of myself,
Know it's for you.
If my mouth joins hands with
My heart,
And runs away from my brain,
Know it's because my heart's
Too full of you.
If I make our friends snigger
And giggle, over the depth of
My feelings,
Please ignore it and stay with me.
If I make you blush
Because of my suggestions,
Know I wouldn't offer them to
Anyone but you.
And if I lavish you with praise,
Accept it with good grace,
Even though most of it may be from
My heart, and not my eyes.
