Teenage Choices
By: C.T., Crescent Collegiate, Blaketown, NF

Being a teenager is not always easy. Teenagers today are faced with choices many find hard to make. As a teenager you have to make, sometimes difficult, decisions. The decisions you make depend on what you want out of life and how you want to live your life. Some difficult decisions teenagers are faced with relate to using drugs and alcohol. These are common among almost every teenager today.

Teenagers struggle with making the right choice. Some feel compelled to give in and say "yes" to drinking and doing drugs. A lot of this is caused by peer pressure. Many find it hard to stand up to everyone else and say "no". They fear being made fun of or not fitting in with the crowd. They end up making the wrong choice ~ a choice that can affect them in later years.

Being a teenager is indeed one of the best times of a person's life. But remember, it is during these years you are faced with many difficult choices. Choices that only you as an individual can make.
