Fashions

1985: The year fanny packs, fido-didot shirts, fingerless gloves, jelly shoes, and gold chains were the 'in' style.

Women would have the Madonna look, tight jeans, mini skirts, and baggy short t-shirts.

Today's fashions are all very different with only a few exceptions.

The "hair-do's' in 1985 are now what we would call hair 'don'ts. Bangs hairsprayed and sticking up as far as they would go, and put over to one side using a bottle of hairspray no wind storm could ever get through.

It is hard to imagine our parents might have been dressed like that when we were arriving at the hospital.

Great Work Guys. I especially like the fashion and music sections, two of my biggest interests (some might call them obsessions. This article was particularily interesting for me because, like many high school grads, I was born in 1985. Thanks for such an informative piece.
